For $1.19
in tax revenue per property tax payer this City is seriously considering selling out not only the neighborhoods on:
Washington Street
Julian Street
Julian Terrace
Arnold Place
Bliss Place
Mohegan Road
Lathrop Court
Beech Drive
Washinton Place
Carroll Place
Fanning Ave
but also the rest of this great City's taxpayers who drive or are carried by ambulance
on the already dangerous and congested Washington Street!
Councilman Larry Goldman stated in the Norwich Bulletin on Oct 5th, “With their design and
the road widening..." WHAT
ROAD WIDENING?! There is NO FUNDING for even a STUDY to widen Washington St. Much less funds to actually
do the work. This is very misleading at best.
